Lise Wolff treats people of all ages, from newborns to seniors, for a wide variety of conditions, among them pain, skin problems, fibromyalgia, allergies, environmental sensitivities, fertility issues, autoimmune disorders, headaches, migraines, menstrual and hormonal imbalances, ADHD, depression, anxiety, stress, fatigue, arthritis and neurological and muscular-skeletal concerns.

An initial consultation lasts 1 1/2 to 2 hours and is based on an extended conversation about past and present physical and emotional health as they relate to the client’s current concerns. As an herbalist, Lise functions as a detective, and the symptoms function as clues. Seemingly unrelated symptoms or illnesses may become important within a holistic framework, so clients are encouraged to make a list for themselves of their health concerns and history to jog the memory for the consultation and ensuing discussion. Follow-up visits are generally scheduled three to five weeks after the initial appointment and generally last 30-60 minutes.

Lise gathers and prepares local and abundant medicinal plants from the wild. The herbal remedies chosen during the consultation are prepared for clients at their appointments. The medicines usually come in liquid form. Clients often take a few drops of liquid two to four times a day, either orally or topically.
